AT LAST - SOMETHING FOR NOTHING
|
There is a scheme called GIFT AID run by the inland revenue. If you pay income tax at the standard rate, we can reclaim the income tax you have paid on the money that you pay to DAG. At present rates the repayment would be £2.80 on every £10.00, a substantial increase which would greatly benefit DAG activities. Even if your main income is below the tax limit, you will still pay income tax on interest from the bank and building society accounts that is paid net of tax. You would not be any worse off as you pay the income tax anyway, the money comes from the Government via the Inland Revenue. Also Gift Aid declarations to other organisations do not change the benefit, because each organisation reclaims the portion of income tax on the money it receives. So, if you would like to help and are a UK taxpayer would you please fill in the form below and return it to me:- Bryan Pugh, 17A Upper Common, Aylburton, LYDNEY, Glos. GL15 6DQ Please notify any future change of address, or if the declaration becomes invalid. Thank you. --------------------------------------------Cut Here-------------------------------------------------- Dean Archaeological Group Please print Title.........
