RARE BOOKS SOUGHT
We are hoping to obtain for the group a copy of the following rare books:
1974 reprint of Atkins - The Ancient and Present State of Gloucestershire
1977 reprint of Rudder - A New History of Gloucestershire
1825 Washbourn - Bibliotheca Gloucestrensis
All three are available for study in Lydney Library but how much better it would be to have our own copies!
Don't apply to any of those firms offering to locate 'Rare and Out-of-Print' books. From experience, even if they find them, they mark them up price wise. One book we found was listed at £35, but we picked it up for £15.
